Bartley Sailing Club is situated on Bartley Reservoir in the south-western outskirts of Birmingham. Close to the M42 and M5 we have 120 acres of clean water and generally excellent wind conditions. Burghfield Sailing Club is one of the largest inland sailing clubs in the country. The lake has over 200 acres of sailable water and lies along the beautiful Kennet Valley so benefiting from the prevailing south-westerly winds. The club is open every day from sunrise to sunset. Club activities range from social events to national race meetings with competitors travelling from all over the country. Club racing begins the first weekend in February and continues up to Boxing Day, only January is used for rest.
