RAM ISLAND YACHT CLUB

The Ram Island Yacht Club Junior Sailing program provides the fundamental skills necessary for young sailors to advance in the sport of sailing as far as their desire, skill, and interests may take them. The program fosters seamanship, safety and self-confidence on the water. Advanced skills are taught for all juniors who are interested in either casual or competitive racing.
The Salle Evelyn Regatta is open to all sailors with class legal Blue Jays or Club 420s. | We use three minute dinghy starts and try to get in as many races as conditions permit. | The 2015 edition will be hosted by Groton Long Point YC.Throughout the year, there are a number of club social functions, all of which are organized and hosted by volunteers.
